Fully one-third of Israelis are chronically hungry
There have ALWAYS been hungry Jews.

Especially NOW.

Even in the best of times there are those who fall through the cracks. Poverty may ebb and flow. But there will always be those who are down on their luck... the emotionally or physically impaired... large families suddenly bereft of a breadwinner... survivors of history's tragedies... new immigrants who arrive penniless... senior citizens who live longer and longer on less and less...

Israel today is home to the world's largest concentration of impoverished Jews. Fully one-third of Israelis are chronically hungry. This is why the United Soup Kitchens exist. Not to cure poverty, but simply to feed the poor.

It doesn't take a philanthropist to give a Holocaust survivor, or a young widow, or a fatherless child a fresh hot meal. All it takes is someone like YOU.
